TEDxBoston: Innovating Defense and Security in an Age of AI convenes the people defining what comes next — defence leaders, frontline operators, researchers, policymakers, and investors — for a day of talks at MIT on Tuesday, 26 May 2026, from 1pm to 6pm.
The event is produced in partnership with MIT’s Mission Innovation X (MIX) which enables mission-driven organizations and dual-use ventures to better solve the world’s biggest challenges. MIT's Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems (LIDS) joins as a partner. Founded in 1940, LIDS is MIT's longest continuously running research laboratory and one of its strongest centers for computing research with decades-long deep expertise in decisions-driven intelligence and agentic, autonomous systems.
With over 300 million YouTube views across 150+ countries, TEDxBoston ensures these conversations reach well beyond the room — carrying the lessons of resilience, technological leadership, and strategic foresight to a global audience.
